For the marinade I made some five spice powder using <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bespokespices.com\/chinese-5-spice.html\">this recipe<\/a>.  Verdict: Very good, but the ribs need a bit more of a chilli kick.<\/p>\n<p>Update (9 Dec 11):<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday I made <a href='https:\/\/www.utilitygirl.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/honey_roast_ribs.pdf'>Nigel Slater&#8217;s honey roast ribs<\/a>.
