After checking into the hotel we had a short walk around the city, including the harbour.  There was some kind of military boat there which I don&#8217;t think I was supposed to take a picture of but I didn&#8217;t think about that till later.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.utilitygirl.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/IMG_2021edit.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.utilitygirl.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/IMG_2021edit-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Oslo\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2886\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.utilitygirl.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/IMG_2021edit-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.utilitygirl.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/IMG_2021edit-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Oslo seems like a typical capital city in that it&#8217;s very cosmopolitan and busy.  There are big long term roadworks going on in the centre and we walked past a few construction projects too.
