{"id":2316,"date":"2012-05-20T23:37:33","date_gmt":"2012-05-20T22:37:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.utilitygirl.co.uk\/blog\/?p=2316"},"modified":"2013-02-02T17:57:06","modified_gmt":"2013-02-02T17:57:06","slug":"nigel-slaters-chilli-feta-recipe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.utilitygirl.co.uk\/blog\/?p=2316","title":{"rendered":"Nigel Slater&#8217;s chilli feta recipe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I need to try this at some point:<\/p>\n<p>CHILLI FETA<\/p>\n<p>Serves 1-2 as a light snack<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>3 medium hot, red or orange chillies<br \/>\n2 spring onions \u00e2\u20ac\u201c finely chopped<br \/>\nA little olive oil<br \/>\n200g feta cheese<br \/>\na few sprigs of thyme<br \/>\ncoriander \u00e2\u20ac\u201c a large handful, roughly chopped<\/p>\n<p>Turkish bread to serve<\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Halve the chillies lengthways, remove their seeds with the point of a knife and discard. If you like it hot, leave the seeds in.<br \/>\n2. Finely slice the chillies and the spring onions. Warm a thin layer of olive oil in a shallow pan, add the chillies and spring onions and leave to soften over a gentle heat, stirring from time to time.<br \/>\n3. Remove the leaves from the thyme, chop roughly then stir in the chillies. Put the lump of feta in the pan, spoon a little of the chillies, spring onions and thyme over the cheese and leave for a few minutes until the cheese is warm and starting to soften around the edges.<br \/>\n4.
